Miss World Trinidad & Tobago 2024 has begun
If y’all follow me on Instagram, you may know that I’m part of the official team of the Miss World Trinidad and Tobago franchise. It’s my second year and I’m excited to take y’all on the journey where we choose our new Miss World Trinidad and Tobago representative.
In this blog post, I’m showing y’all behind the scenes where we took the Top 17 girls Official Headshots. I did reach half way into them shooting, so I was only able to get some of the girls.
Each photographer on the team brings their own uniqueness. I bring my storytelling to the team. I love taking behind the scenes images and what goes on when official events happen. Also, being the only female photographer in the team I get to be backstage, so I’m giving y’all the exclusive access. I also bond with the girls and do fun creative photoshoots during the local leg of the competition. I have my first one this weekend and I’m super excited.
Let me present some of the delegates to you. I will also indicate which area they are representing.
Miss Arima: Anna-Marie Bhagan
Miss Point Fortin- Ally Sequea
Miss Toco- Hannah Roberts
Miss Aranguez- Prishni Rampersadsingh
Miss Bon Air- Kirsten Bleasdell
Miss Princes Town- Sonia Birbal
Miss Tobago- Renessa Ortiz
Miss Gasparillo- Kayla Alexander
Miss Pax Vale- Anna-Lise Nanton
This may be quite different to what I normally share on my website. However, I’m proud to be part of a team who works for the development of women. There may be one winner but all these delegates come out of the competition being strong resilient women.
I’m also proud to be part of a team that’s working on something locally and even internationally. Being part of the Miss World Trinidad and Tobago team brings out my creativity, connects me with creative people and gives young women so many opportunities.
This is just the beginning I’m sharing. Look out for more blog posts on this year’s Miss World Trinidad & Tobago competition.
