Adventure Session in Chaguaramas, Trinidad

As a couples photographer, I often find myself playing the role of the third wheel. But honestly? I’m not even sorry about it. I get to witness some of the most intimate, beautiful moments between couples, and there’s something special about being part of that experience, even if it’s just for the day.

Janelle is my girl and when I heard she got engaged the next obvious thing was to do her engagement shoot.

We decided on a leisurely Sunday afternoon for the shoot. The sky was a little gloomy, setting a calm, cozy vibe for the day. We hopped in the car and took a scenic drive along Tucker Valley Road, making impromptu stops at random spots that seemed to capture the essence of their relationship—fun, spontaneous, and full of love.

Each stop was like finding a hidden gem, perfect for those wholesome, candid engagement shots. But it wasn’t just about the photos. It was about the laughter, the moments they shared as a couple, and the love they radiated together.

Our final stop took us to the popular Samaan Park, where the lush green grass became the perfect backdrop for their affectionate cuddles. Watching them relax and enjoy each other’s company made me realize that being the third wheel isn’t so bad after all—it’s truly an honor to document these moments for couples embarking on such an exciting chapter of their lives.

If you are ready for an adventure to capture your love story, feel free to contact me.

Capturing love stories like Janelle’s and Angelo’s reminds me why I love what I do. The photos aren’t just about posing and pretty places—they’re about the connection, the laughs, and the memories created along the way.

So, here's to more spontaneous drives, random stops, and cozy cuddles on the green grass. And, of course, to being the best third wheel I can be!
